Gibb River Station is situated half way along the Gibb River Road 370 km east of Derby and 390km west of Kununurra.
Gibb River station was once a 2 million acre privately owned cattle station but in 1989 the station lease was purchased by the Dept of Aboriginal Affairs for the newly formed Ngallangunda Aboriginal Community.
